Gary Stewart's "Cactus and a Rose" was a # 48 Country Music Hit in the summer of 1980 from his RCA LP "Cactus and a Rose" a #49 Country Album. Gary Stewart charted 30 songs between 1973 and 1989. He had his own honky tonk style that was very unique to him. Gary committed suicide on 12/16/2003 at age 59. His unique voice and style will never be forgotten by true Country Music fans!
