Actually, you are misinformed about rotaries voltage6969, n/a wankel engines have little torque and rely on high revs to produce hp. Add a turbo and you get a lot of torque. An example, a stock n/a 13b had 194nm, then they added a turbo and the 13bt had stock 294nm. Not bad for a 1.3 litre. Compare a stock Holden 5 Litre V8 same year had 323nm which is 10% more for an engine 3.8 times the displacement. Look at a 20bt, a 2 litre rotary 402nm stock. Thats 25% more torque then the stock bulky v8.
actually no torque at all lol, these made little to non, but the high revs made rediculous hp for the size and thats what your seeing, power to weight ratio
