@longbeard1407 If you hate it that much, why bother coming to watch a tribute to the new series? You can tell by the first 20 seconds what series it's made from. And if you read the video information you would be able to tell from the episode names. They were going to attempt to remake the old series with the old series style effects, and I've seen the trailer for it and it looked... well half baked. The complete remake in my opinion was a good thing and I've seen both types of series.

@TRUExSIGHTS I completely agree, though I doubt it's preventable. Even while "common" people like you or me can see the eventual effects of it, politcians and governments cannot (A-bomb, hyodrgen bomb, nuclear warheads, what's next), and continue building until they collapse in on themselves.

what an extraodinary tale . . .

what a mighty ship... .O :D
The scene where the basestars are bombarding the battlestar galactica and camera start to go away is the most dramatic scene I ever experienced with a TV series. Seriously, for a second there I thought they would destroy the Galactica.
.
No other moment in the series was so perfectly stored in my memory.

@padamibr Yeah i agree with you there mate, definitely one of the best scenes i remember. It was perfectly timed and the music just added to it. The speech wasn't overly cheesy either, just before the panning out, not like most where its "LETS DO THIS, WE BEAT THEM STILL" but a acceptance of victory but at a cost, their own lives. Then the Pegasus arriving was the best timed and one of my favourite scenes out of the whole series.

i wish mankind could oneday achieve this kind of technology. but likely will never happen until we all find a common enemy

@Badmicakaneo We will achieve this technology eventually, though it will probably take hundreds, or maybe thousands of years. There was no common enemy in the colonials time, as they had most of this technology when they were creating the cylons. The rate of which our technological development is increasing will ultimately lead to this technology existing.

@TRUExSIGHTS Yes. All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again, and again, and again, and again, and again...

@TonyEvans96 Though as the show says at the end, in the words of Baltar and Six, this time I don't think so, due to the law of averages. Then again, the show itself is a warning to us I think, saying that if we keep going to AI and machines, may that be how we end up? On the run from the very things we create. There's a lot of meaning in the show to think about, atleast that's what i find personally.
