when you said ( over stupid reasons), most of these killings could be avoided but some of these youths are caught up in this postcodes, endz ting, lifes more precious than what they killing each other for.

@bigbenusa45 And for the record i do know that completely inocent people have sufferd from gun crime aswell. Could you tell me the date of the ban you were reffering to? as there has been legislation against firearms in one way or annother for decades.

@bigbenusa45 The common street thug in the uk in most cases will only carry something as serious as a knife. It is the black market that supplies most criminals with firearms in the uk. And the black market is usually restricted to organised crime and drug dealers. And you can for the most part stay away from these people if you dont buy large ammounts of heroin an dont pay. Gun crime rates have followed the patterns in population rise, so it all depends hoe you use the statistics.

I'm sure english law dosn't let people steal, murder or rape either. Gun crime in england has gone up since the ban. It only made the problem worse. To figure what effect the english ban had you have to compare the crime rate as it was before and after the ban. If you do that the facts show that the crimanals didnt turn in their guns.

At the moment the common street thug will only have a knife if we allow him to carry a gun it would make things worse. And completely free ownership of guns hasnt been legal in the uk since 1903, there was a hand gun ban in 1995 but that applied to sportsmen with licences. Deaths from gun crime in UK only reach double figures, places like Compton could match that in a day.

Hey warrior prince I used to live in some rough areas in chicago, I can tell you from experience that gun control is a load of crap. I wish I had my right to carry a gun back when I lived in chicago. Oh and BTW now I live out in the country and the police response time is like 30 minutes. What the hell am I supposed to do if some meth head breaks in and puts my family in danger? 911 won't work heck it never worked for me back in the city when the response time was good.

If it were not for my spring assisted knife I WOULD BE DEAD. I used it twice to defend my life. Once against two drunks who started following me on my way home from the library and tried to jump me. Used to live in chicago and unfortunatly I couldn't carry a gun legally but thank GOD I carried that knife everywhere. Criminals will get whatever the hell they want, they don't obey the law, and don't care whats illegal. gun control kills. I used a spring assisted knife to save my life.

Gun crime in england has gone up sine they banned guns. In australia their crime and murder rate doubled the year after they banned guns, it went up even more the following year. Mexico banned guns, it's a friggin war zone. Here in the us law-abiding citizens use guns to defend themselves against criminals 2.5 million times every year.Citizens shoot and kill at least twice as many criminals as police do every year (1,527 to 606).
