BTW, I do not see a video of you or your group playing...

On traditional context, yes Sangban needs to work, more, but here it´s the own group´s arrangement, it´s not a tradicional context; when playing 'traditionally', the group knows how to use sangban variations. About the solo drummer, it IS consistent, a lot, I can´t agree about that. Also, the main focuses here are: the arrangement ( with many passages and 'breaks ', then very high energ, precision of execution, increase and variation on the speed, some krin solo...

Its ok but the Sangban needs work ...needs to stand out...the sangbans the heart of the rythm and the solo drummer needs to be more consistent!

@Idawa61 @Idawa61 Some kinds of '' arguing '' can be polited, healthy and result into many positive points / conclusions, that depends on who is arguing and specially HOW. / About dancing, you can see lots, hundreds of versions of Kuku rhythm with dancing! But this work here focuses on rhythm, arrangements and other aspects, like Les Percussions de Guinné ( a more than legendary ensemble ) used to do. Have you heard / seen them ever ?
