These muscle bound bikes are setting all kinds of records for human
powered speed. They can reach speeds of 60 mph. On top of that
they're 100% environmentally clean. These super aerodyanamic
green cycles are now being raced all over the world. We'll meet
Fast Freddy Markham, the current world record holder for human-powered speed on a bike.
In 2006, he pedaled 53.43 miles in an hour on his eco-bike. We'll travel to Santa Cruz to
examine the design and strategy behind these amazing rides. From their modified cycle
structures to their lightweight aerodynamic fiberglass shells, we'll see the tech being used to
propel these pedaled machines to victory.

  • @Snaskenkeiwk Yeah but then you take in the carbon again when you eat your fries, veggies, etc. Net effect (even with methane emissions from the rear end): zero.

  • Exhaust free my ass. You breathe out more CO2 when using your muscles than just sitting. Take that into consideration you tree-hating faggots!

  • "Cyclers"? That's a new one on me. A great piece.

They should have had some velomobiles in this piece.

  • @ChaosSamurai1 He meant to say, he wouldn't ride a bike in a hundred years....LOL

  • bikes have not beer around 100 years, try 300

  • WI is number one in bicycles so why did they GIVE 10 million to a booze maker who then moved with the money to Colorado? Bikes.... NOTHING WI loves drunks!
