  • I went there in July and the place was packed. I had the baked Alaska that you could see them working on several times during the episode, which, after a huge meal was a little hard to take on, but I'm proud to say i got about half way through it. :)

  • @NewOrleansRant

    Erroneous

  • Nawleans is come'n back bayba. Oh yaa.. You know its true.

  • @PhantomLyric Oh cool! Thanks for that

  • @TheBellaTenenbaum If you look at him closely, he looks Italian. Many creoles often do. He could very well be italian. Back in the 50s, there were a number of Italian "business men." cough cough... running several parts of New Orleans. all through out New Orleans. I know they weren't natives. Mostly immigrants. So if he was born there, my guess his mother is either black/creole, or Italian herself but his voice and vernacular give it away. There's no Italian precision but I could be wrong..

  • @PhantomLyric How can you tell?

  • Finding a white guy in New Orleans is probably tough... Sometimes you have to look twice at a white guy to know if he is or not. Like the waiter there he was talking to.... You could tell he's creole. At first I thought he was white. I think it's great though. I think the entire world should be creole.

  • I just watched this show, and there was I part I just caught the end of, showing a guy who lived on a cool looking "shantyboat", or houseboat. I didn't catch his name......anyone remember? Thanks

  • Tom Fitzmorris has never been the voice of food in New Orleans. He claims to be and has a radio show but the locals ignore him.

  • I love Antoine's, we spent a few days there having lunch and appetizers in the bar area and having amazing cocktails for our honeymoon. The restaurant and dining areas are amazing!!!
