  • Great video! There are two things I would like to see too:

    - Can the number of mappers on this party be displayed in the video?

    - Could a time ticker be added to show in what time frame the mapping is done?

    That way I can use it as an excellent promotional video to explain to people how fast mapping can be when volunteers join forces!

  • Probably about 10-15 people total at the Surrey Hills mapping party (covering more than just this area). The animation shows about 4 people/groups in Dorking at any given time. The event was over 2 days.

    The animation skips over any periods when no GPSs were turned-on. You can see each day starting with someone's trace as they drive to the meeting-place, then some activity in the morning, then everyone travels to meet at the pub, then another flurry of mapping each afternoon.
