DRDO tests missile defence shield on Mar 6, 2009 - Indigenous interceptor missile

India on March 6 successfully tested an indigenous interceptor missile that destroyed an incoming "enemy" ballistic missile at an altitude of 80 km.

@FARHATDAR02 india and china at least have a scope for improvement of relations coz they know both are headed for power....and we BUILD power by cooperation than by competition. instead of pakistan thinking of RULING india...it must get INSIDE things in place first. true that india has problems...but they have been going away at brisk pace. by 2015...india's poverty is projected to drop to 22%. and india is worried about a troubles neighbour. a happy neighbour is important too.
