Your playing was elegant and classical. The beauty and details could be played neatly at this speed. Some palyer adopted a very presto speed to ruin teh piece.

@NathanLarsenMusic its for that same reason that i got a two at state for this piece as my tuba solo my senior year... that was one of the main reasons i'm going into aviation rather than music edu for my major in college. lol.

hmm. His style is definitely not matching with how it would have been intended. He is adding slurs that would never have been in the original, and the pedal would have been used very minimally in this time period, if at all. Note-wise, it is just fine. Stylistically, not as much. There should be a lot more staccato.

A wonderful perfomance. Everything seems just right. I'm just beginning to learn this piece. I note that you repeated the second half (the development and recapitulation); I don't have a repeat in my edition. Either way--great playing!
