I will respectfully disagree with you. The Constitution is not a living and evolving document. That is exactly why the United States has run into problems. It has been overinterpreted and manipulated to suite ones needs. That document is revered and studied all over the world. It's as close to perfect as it gets.

first of all, you can't interpret something the way "it was written" because that's the idea. the written constitution needs interpretation.

apart from that, you shouldn't glorify the us founding fathers. half of them we're slave owners. Most of them we're racist in one way or another.

Not to blame them, because that's the change that happens when countries develop.

also there's internet now, and globalization, etc.

So it's simplistic to just say the constitution is perfect.
