  • I know this is probably an easy question to answer, but when was Kings Island better do you think...now or in the past? And was the animal safari where the action area is now?

  • When Was it better? hmm.... I would say that the park was always better before Paramount got a hold of it. Yes, before the action theater the monorail dominated that whole area, infact some of the origanal animal cages from the ride are still in the forest around top gun, and the Son of beast.

  • @gladiatorfilm if they destroy the Son EVERYONE WOULD BE PISSED OFF!!!! thumbs up if u agree

  • where did you get these?

  • @MsMarkCrow I'm sorry for your loss

  • @gladiatorfilm if they removed that trim break before the helix u would be reduced to pudding. theres a reason they place those trim brakes.

  • Thank you for all these photos. I cried for so long because I forgot about my wonderful childhood memories that happened at Kings Island and on the Monorail. I used to ride that with my dad. He's dead now and it seems like every year, more and more memories of him keep disappearing from my memory. Thank you so much. This was so great for me.

  • The Beast is still one of the best nightime rides anywhere with it tucked back in the woods. Just unleash it's ferocity and remove all braking. The 740 degree final helix would be even more insane without that trim brake on the section of slightly tilted track descending into the heart of the helix.

  • The best thing that Kings Island can do to the world famous Beast, is to let it run completely without any trim brakes anywhere throught the ride. To fund the maintenance cost of upkeep if it was left without trim brakes, they can tear down that monstrosity called Son of Beast, which will probably never operate again, and send all that lumber to somebody that could use it and pay some money for it.

  • the beast is great because so old and rickity lookity and out in the middle of the forrest..quite a marvel really..... just creepy to me for some reason.... if ever abandoned itwill be awesome to come across..all grown over etc..

  • @arrowguy173 in my perspective, florida has the best themed rides. there is nothing in the state that is just there to take up space, they all have their distinctive names and their own areas, which really brings in the theme and beauty

  • OH & CA are tops when it comes to parks. It's great having the 2 you mentioned plus the classic parks in PA & the fantastic wooden coasters in IN.
