  • what time was this?

  • Between 5 PM and 7 PM. However, I've seen these moves at various times of the day.

  • but what are the times?

  • It has been 9 in the morning in Northeast Philly (Tacony), 10 in the morning in Hamilton, between 5 PM and 7 PM at Princeton..... it's random. I'm also told that some of the times are posted in NJT Employee timetables but I haven't seen one lately.

  • @tarahjamison12 cool I do see 4 NJT ACL deadhead trains 2 going north and 2 going south every saturday and sunday are there anymore runs?

  • @Acela1a Septa doesn't own any of the tracks that NJT would be riding on, they branch out of 30th street going out in to PA but anything NJT runs on is Amtraks, they own all the lines going up and down the state. NJT was trying to takeover the post office in NYC and make all new rails for themselves, but our elfish governer stopped that from happening.

  • Any major issue that a AC consist has that cannot be fixed by herzog in AC train station (where I work) has to be sent to the MMC (aka the club) to be fixed in the main mechanical department in Morrisville yard or Sunnyside yard. Usually my father is the engineer that does the move, bringing the AC train up north to be fixed. And it can happen at any given time.. if Herzog can't fix it it's taken up north. And they have to be taken up there to have Multilevels put on them for ACES service to AC

  • @Acela1a and the NJT ACL deadheads from MMC to philly every weekend.

  • @Acela1a well actually amtrak owns the whole NEC from boston to washington yes i do see the ACES all the time going through Northeast philly.

  • @56yuoi The Reason that NJTransit can't do that at least because the NEC commuter section between Trenton NJ and Phila PA is because that track is owned by Amtrak and Septa. However there is the ACES train Between NYC to Atlantic City but the reason that could happen is it is opperated by NJTransit and Amtrak. If you you want to blame the problem on some on it would be Septa's fault.

  • i did seen one passing briesburg at 11:26 after the amtrak regional passed.

  • and thanks for the info.

  • i used to live in tacony but now i live in the greater northeast philly.
