However way you look at it all these magical girl shows are ripped off from sailor moon, i mean Mermaid melody has a talking penguin (Luna) They all fight off evil, they all have overuse of stock footage, and they all have horrid storylines (I mean girls who fight evil by singing? wtf were they thinking?) Winx club is also inspired by sailor moon, ignio straffi himself said that he wished to create a show aimed mainly at girls like Sailor Moon in 2000, when tv was dominated by boy tv shows

Winx It has love fighting and protecting. The thing l love about winx is that mostly Sky and Brandon always wanna save Bloom or Stella and l think thats really cute

There's romance in both but MM are drawn better and Kaito is so hot :D But WC is not so bad either because of their transformation ^^ But MM was my first anime and WC was my first cartoon . But MM is better because it has more romance scenes and they can sing

I honestly hate that mermaid melody thing. I like winx a lot better, it's a lot more beautiful, and they have tons of friendship, good relationships, and FLORA ROCKS. And they've got more story line than the other one does. Plus I HATE THE ANIMATION.... IT'S ALL BLOCKY!

I like both Mermaid Melody and Winx Club. Mermaid Melody is all about singing and destroying the evil enemies. It is also about love too. Winx Club is about fighting/defeating the Trix or Valtor. It is also about friendship and love too. I personally love both. :)
