Johhny the Fighting Betta has proven to be a perfect community fish...as long as he's with other fish that don't look like other Bettas.

Johnny has also never eaten anyone...though our community of little cherry shrimp disappeared one night...and we think it was the Gouramis.

We now have much bigger Armano shrimp and they're bigger than some of the fish in the tank...so hopefully they won't be on anyone menu anytime soon.

So far Johnny, the Betta, hasn't eaten anyone. I think he's still acclimating to the fact that he's no longer in a tiny bowl. The first day he just hid. This is his third day in the tank and he's doing much better.

Nice setup,does the Betta never tried to eat the shrimps?

Just asking coz since yesterday my Betta share his NanoTank with Chrystal Reds.

btw. how many gallons is this tank?
