Salute to the Superstars welcomes to our family Mr. Larry Turner performing his outstanding tribute to George Strait. A singer who has performed professionally since 1976, started his career in gospel music as a soloist and also as lead singer for "The Lads" quartet. In the early 1990s Precious Moments contacted him to start and produce a music show for the Precious Moments Chapel in Carthage, MO. He served in that capacity for 11 years. During that time he had the privilege to meet George Strait's father and was told that he had a strong resemblance to his son. After leaving Precious Moments, Larry moved to Branson, Missouri, performing at the Presley's Country Jubilee.
I don't see any of you up there on that stage giving it a shot. At least he has the balls to try.
