As a WVU fan Randy rely pissed me off but you have to love this kid!! He is a true great and Will be a hall of Famer can count on it!

this game in '97 was competitive because both teams were good. Marshall was a year away from their peek, and WVU was a few years away from faltering (right before RichRod). By the time they signed the Friends of Coal deal, MU was at its lowest point in 30 yrs, and WVU was arguably at its highest. That's why the recent games aren't close. But if they keep playing, things will even out again. And MU may actually hold on to a 4th quarter lead this time.

yes . . . Michigan Wolverines. They were so good they forced their coach to retire that year, and in turn, hired another coach that couldn't win the big games and his previous stop ;)

but if Marshall would've stayed in 1-AA, then that would mean that WVU would have been behind to a 1-AA team going into the fourth quarter. Is that what you're trying to say? That WVU is so bad they have a tough time with 1-AA teams??

These were the good days. Randy was the most prolific college receiver ever and is for sure going to be a NFL hall of famer. You are a beast cuz!
