@fishteeth2 GOP controlled the house and senate for virtually 12 yrs straight,"obama had a super majority"just like the SIX yrs bush did, one thing different that i can recall tho, the dems didnt fillibuster every piece of legislation like the GOP does now, what ever happened to a simple majority vote in the senate? now everythings fillibustered into requiring 60 votes to pass a bill. GOP fillibusters evrythng, votes 'no' on evrythng, then adds amendments to bills they know wont pass

@fishteeth2 Senate Republicans filibustered the nomination of Caitlin Halligan to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, then they filibustered Obama’s nomination of Goodwin Liu to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Both nominees were blocked from appointment. But Reids '60 vote debt bill' was a sneaky move, i believe he filibustered, which requires a vote be delayed until two days, to make his bill the last one possible to vote for b4 the debt ceiling deadline.

@beerslave7 I find it odd too, along with very much about Obama. Like his obviously manipulated long form birth certificate (it's obvious, don't even try to deny it), his declaration that he will bypass Congress when it suits him, his opinions about the Constitutionality of actions of the Honduran government, his decision to not defend DOMA, out of control AG, war in Libya paving the way for Islamists, opposition to domestic energy, Solyndra loans, bowing to kings, etc.

I find it odd that somebody who"hates the Constitution"would put themselves through college studying none other than law!The guy attended Harvard Law School &University of Chicago Law School,He then served as a professor at the University of Chicago for 12 yrs—as a Lecturer from 1992 to 1996, and as a Senior Lecturer from 1996 to 2004—teaching..hmm..Constituti­onal Law! hahaYou're confused!

@beerslave7 I know the GOP filibustered the nominees. I already said that. They're finally doing what the Democrats started over 25 years ago. This is how government is going to be run from now on. And the next GOP president will use all the powers Obama has created for himself. The next GOP president and Congress will find it much easier to dismantle everything Obama has done, because the GOP is finally doing what the Dems are doing. Good times.
