@cduran 1212 - this was my 2nd entry, Carmen Silva (singer in Nomad) had access to a Yamaha grand in a nice studio and put on a few of the samples and started improvising. I cut it up and gave it some structure, played upright bass to it and added a few samples from the pack. some timely advice by someone I greatly respect turned into stripping it down and giving it a lot of space, I submitted that and we won! Carmen and I have done other downtempo tracks in the past also along with live DnB

@NomadDnB i have a question for you.. was that your original intention to do a piano solo for a mix or did it come down to that over trial time?

theres times in my day where i can absolutely listen to some well played, soft piano to the tune of an already amazing song. very well done. this is such a revolutionary thing to do. i would have never even dreamed of taking such a complex piece and turning it into something like piano, or a sax or something. well done nomad
