Mayor Koch and the Quincy city council have to go!

The good and the bad about living in Quincy. Good people came out, bad the government wouldn't let them speak or show any sort of interest in why they were there. But you know the vote counted because they tabled it. Power to the people. I'll be at the next one, Quincy City council. If they try to bring out this ordinance, we're going to have twice as many there, Mayor Koch. Power to the people! Keeping democracy alive.

65%?
Perhaps a percent of the 65% should run for local city council?
As the saying so often goes, "Change comes from within."

i dont understand what is the real issue here? are they waiting to talk to the federal government b4 they make any decisions?? is this why its not happening cuz of the federal government... think about it... if it becomes legal to smoke.... then who is to say the hemp plant cannot b grown as an economic source of income??? its not only legalizing to smoke it.... it must b a bigger issue than all of this...

Criminal record for life that barred MA residents from many jobs, for 1 joint? You might not care about that, but 65% of MA voters did. Taxation? Our decrim is not taxation. It is less money than when you got charged & now you don't have to do any piss test, criminal record, court, probation officers, stress, loss of jobs. Yes, history! Biggest marijuana reform win in almost 20 years. First big one in New England, big East Coast parochial puritan state with all the politicians against us.

State governor is against us. We are undefeated, won big concessions in Methuen. Defeated them in West Newbury, Worcester. 90% of cities and towns are not changing the will of the people. In Boston and Cambridge they won't even think about it. Many like Newburyport are backing off. They are hearing us. Nice and polite and then if they push it, especially in a big city like Quincy, we bring them out. We pushed them back in Quincy, no ordinance, they are backing off of it.

You shouldn't be talking what you really don't know about. We use the carrot and the stick approach. Most choose the carrot! Especially the larger cities like this where we can bring the people out. We brought them out in Quincy because of the city govt. And we are getting media and the attention of many cities and towns who are backing off! Methuen backed off, took the carrot, see my videos about that. We didn't bring the crowd for that one because they worked with us.
BJ's is actually giving all the city council free membership's too. At one point in the night they discussed something like 'all in favor of free membership's for city council" and the council actually laughed about it and voted yes. showing me thats something that must happen all the time. The fact that they can accept bribes openly and without shame in front of 40 - 60 people shows me there lack of respect for democracy. Fuck The System!

i like the sound of this and the information that is shown.
EVERYONE marijuana or as i like to call it cannabis hemp is a much bigger deal than just smoking. INDUSTRIAL HEMP is the real reason this is so hard to get rights for..... seriously massachusettes would make so much revenue if this proposal passed. everyone would b wearing hemp shirts/pants/shoes/ b living in hemp made homes... be writing thoughts on hemp paper. and all this have positive effects on earth and the economy baby!

We agree... but we're fighting one battle at a time. And at the moment, the biggest issue at hand in Massachusetts is ensuring that the will of the people is recognized, and that the law we PASSED WITH 65% OF THE VOTE isn't overturned by end-run politics. Once we win this, it's time to get the medical marijuana patients the cannabis they require. Then we can talk about hemp.
