nice top sportsman, did you know that you can put a pro stock motor (most top sportsman use a cheaper version) into a pro mod but you cant put a pro mod engine in a pro stock engine

He has been running pro-mods...but this was at No Problem in south Louisiana in the summer of '06. This particular race the car was set up for the top sportsman category, pro-stock didn't run that race.
The Coughlin family has been racing for many years. Jeg Jr was at this even and competed in top dragster. People seem to forget that just because someone competes on the national circuit (NHRA/IHRA) in one particular class that they are automatically restricted to that class of racing only.

Sure, there is a huge difference, but sorry, you're mistaken. This wasn't an 'NHRA' event. This was the Cajun Sports Nationals at No Problem Dragway in south Louisiana summer of '06.
