Sounds on the Downs Downpour 2011

Highlight of this year's Sounds on the Downs day festival at Highfields, Nottingham University was the heavens opening up around 5pm, not letting up for what seemed like an age (I hope Nottingham's self-appointed poet laureate got his Ark finished in time!). I didn't have a video camera with me today, but had to get something on camera of determination of what was left of the crowd to enjoy the music and carry on regardless; so it was the video function of the stills camera, while being drenched to the point where I started to feel ill. And, as you can see, those promotional brollies came in handy in the end!
