i have a male two month old zera finch, he is hand trained, and flys to me when i whistle, i recomend hand feeding them, the see you as there parrent, but it can kill the baby zeebee

Someone please help me idk if my finch has died in the nestbox and at the same time I don't want to disturb them because some have eggs

It's easy to catch them in the dark as they won't fly in the dark. If you don't happen to own a butterfly net try throwing a light sheet or something over them to catch them if they get loose. Make sure all windows are shut before trying to take them out of their cage.

They don't fly fast and I would always catch them in my hand. They are adorable.

shouldnt you catch them with a small net? Catching them with your hand while they are flying could injure them...
