Hey mang! I just bought one of these on impulse, and I thought of some awesome questions for you:

1) How does real-life battery life compare to the 1000H*? Is it any better with a different OS like Ubuntu?

2) Is the LCD backlight the most power-hungry part of this laptop considering its size and the fact that it's LED?

3) Will Ubuntu need heavy configuring to fully function on this thing?

4) Are the aluminum parts solid aluminum, or is it just a veneer subject to nasty wearing?

Just a couple of questions:

1.) Whats an estimated length of time you can go on one full battery charge just under basic internet browsing, word processing and the such?

2.) Is the aluminum sturdy, or is it just a thin sheet just for looks?
