There are bigger fish to fry than license plates. What about the father that lost custody of his children for not believing in god? The judge took his agnosticism into consideration.

@A4AgnstcFndmntlst Are you an agnostic atheist or an agnostic theist? Agnosticism does not answer the question if you "believe" in a god or not, only if you "know" if there is one. Don't hide from being an atheist simply because of the stigma created by the religious.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof ..so it would be unconstitutional only if they refuse to let others have plates as well and when they turn down the Satan worshipers then I'll go protest the DMV or whoever but until then let the babies have their bottles.

I don't think anyone will try to kill you for saying this stuff. Most people are atheists these days and Christians don't care about stuff like this. I am an atheist and I don't care if people spend money on stupid plates we have some over here with horny toads on them. just don't buy it. I think American society is going in our direction anyway. But really no need for the mask unless you are going after Scientology those are the ones that will stalk you thisisnot unconst bcause I donthave tobuy

Hahaha....Jesus (no pun intended). I'm not going to argue over the validity of what you're saying, since I essentially agree with you, but take that fucking mask off. You look like a little kid who tied his mothers apron around his neck so he could look like Superman. V for Vendetta was a hamfisted, over simplified bundle of cliches and plot holes anyway and I really hope you don't expect people to take you seriously. You're not part of a revolution, you're part of a fad. A "phase". Fuck you.

That is some really scary and eye opening stuff! Licence plates with "In God We Trust"?
Theocracy is right around the corner folks! Atheists, if you're out there, better come out of your comfy little closets and get fucking busy!
We may not be a theocracy. Yet. But we might just be a "pre-theocracy".
Well c'mon, isn't it soooo fucking obvious???
You are correct in you're statements, but you lose creditable by trying to ride on "anonymous". coat tails. Get a new avatar

I picked this avatar because I liked the movie, before I had even heard of anonymous.

I'm not sure if it actually violates anything though. From what I've heard of the seperation of church and state law, it doesn't say that the government may not support religion, rather it bars it from mandating a religion. However, I definitely think it is *wrong* for religion to have any place in government...good luck getting that law passed though :(

If any of these 3 prongs is violated, the government's action is deemed unconstitutional under the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.

I hope I don't sound too defensive (or like a nut job). But if you are concerned about religion invading your life. It can't get much worse than coming from the government. This one plate in and of itself really is not a big deal. But it is another step in a systematic attempt to infiltrate the government with religion.

One last thing. The 14th amendment ensures that a state cannot violate any rights that are protected by the federal government. So the argument cannot be made that this issue should be left to the states.
