I have a question: According to your instructions above, those first songs that you list, what does it accomplish? And do you have to do them in that order? Does it matter what instrument?

no, just complete them, they'll unlock you the bands, it must be done in career. The No Doubt ones appear nearly at the end of career though. In Band Hero you can get up to 800G in less than 3 hours, watch my other vid
