"You're probably the only person to get aroused by putting on deodorant." OH MAN, that cracked me up. Hilarious!
And you're funny as cheeeeese man.
-
I don't agree. He represents himself.
-
@walsh071 err whatever... How was that not handled well? People have a right to tell their story and others have a right to have a reaction. This is a comedy show so laughing is kind of expected... What Ian is doing is a great thing. He raising awareness in a positive way that people are comfortable with. He is only representing himself and who he is, but I think he's doing a great job at representing other transmen as well. Everyone needs to stop being so serious all the time and laugh once in
-
Ian, you're fantastic! Keep doing what you're doing! Much love!
-
yeah that was not handled well at all. ignorance is so unattractive.
-
@Emeryyyyyyy The only thing is, he's not representing you. He's representing himself. And he's free to speak about himself and his life in whatever terms he sees fit. And on top of that he's a comedian. Comedians express themselves differently in front of an audience.
A person is free to describe themselves though however they want. And if he wants to phrase it as 'born a girl' he can. Whether it be for comedic purposes or not. Don't pass judgement on others because of your opinions
-
@Emeryyyyyyy Represented "us?" Ian was representing himself. He never said ALL transmen are born girls. He was just telling his own story in his own way.
-
all those fucking people are fucking stuid im sorry.
-
Ohh. my godd. I laughed. so hard.
-
I strongly disaprove of their behaviour!
I don't like how he represented us. "Born a girl"? i like "boy born with a girl body" better.

@Emeryyyyyyy I agree. It only encourages comments like "I thought I was the only girl on the show"

I disagree, Kerri Louise was not provoked because of MY language, she was provoked by 1) being a Comic on a show where you are asked to be funny with her own & other people's jokes on the show; and 2) the urge to be funny as a Comic. She was not provoked by MY language.Maybe you missed the greater point, which is: There was a positive image of a Queer Trans guy was on American network television telling his story in a funny, and positive way. Language is important, but progress not perfection.

The language you heard is my language and my story; I tell it how I see fit. I don't know you Emeryyyyyyyy and out of respect for you as a brother/sister and your own personal experience, I would never tell you how to tell your own story. What you watched was me on tv, telling my story, I only represent me.
