BOSS RV-5 - Digital Reverb - Demo

This is a demonstration of the BOSS RV-5. A digital stereo reverb. I personally just use this pedal for the modulated reverb. I use my RV-3 for some other bigger reverbs and my tube spring reverb of my Fender Twin Reverb for casual reverbs.

COOL TIP: try using the modulated reverb with some dirt/gain pedals; instant wall-o'-sound.

Have you tried the TC Hall Of Fame? I've been considering traded my RV5 for one, just to try something new. Also after a Blue Sky hehe

I just use the RV-5 for the Modulate mode and seeing as the HoF's Modulated Reverb is quite awful, I'm just not interested in it. I think the BSR's modulated mode isn't anything special as well.

I have this pedal and have only EVER used the modulate effect...works quite nicely for the sound I go for when I write so I'm not complaining. If it broke I'd buy the exact same one again.

Same here. I just use the Modulate mode. Have so, for years now. It's kinda one of my signature pedals, at least, in IZAH (one of the bands I play in).

I've had it several times. It's okay. I prefer software reverbs anyways (most of the time).

Many artists who have reverb perfected use the RV-5. It's pretty ignorant to say this pedal sucks. Coldplay at records with it. reverb doesn't get much better than Coldplays reverb guys.

You know, I agree ... But look at the upload date. This video was recorded 2 years ago. I now record everything direct in (Axe-Fx ULTRA --> Presonus FirePod --> Ableton Live). If you check out the other videos, you can see the difference.
