I dunno if I see it as a father/daughter relationship, I think I see it more as a loose fraternal bond, but not a human-human one so much as one formed on Sesshy's and Rin's own terms. They're both outsiders at the time they meet, and I think that's part of it. But father/daughter is a better concept than people who say its love ><.

eople who suggest that Sesshomaru and Rin have a father/daughter relationship know absolutely NOTHING about male psychology. Sesshomaru is 19 in human years and young men don't have fatherly instincts or feelings towards children who are not their biological children. They develop fatherly instincts only AFTER they become parents to their own biological children, not before. Sesshomaru never treats Rin like she's his daughter. Rin doesn't treat Sesshomaru like he's her father, either.
