Fatal ATV vs Pole - Orville Rd - Graham WA

July 1, 2007. This one is a little strange. A person driving by called the accident in at 11AM, reporting a strong smell of alcohol and the atv rider laying in the field near it. The reportee also stated the rider was not breathing and appeared to have been there for sometime. I wonder how many people drove by and ignored the scene before 11AM. It hasn't been confirmed yet by law enforcement that the rider was DUI. This was in the 27100 block of Orville Rd.

@jackslaughters I'm further away than it looks but some would still say I'm close if they saw where I stood. I stay out of the crime/accident scene unless escorted. In this case an imaginary line, no crime scene tape. How I work the camera to bring the image in tight also makes it look much closer.

dude those atv's are like tanks and in order to do that...no way he could of survived.

i dont mean to be rude but i hope he died on impact instead of laying in agony for hours..it is truly amazing that nobody stopped when the quad was in plain sight..and the person that had called it in actually said they smelled alcohol..LMFAO..at least the rat got the authorities to the scene.

@bowhunter5580 yup hondas are built to be reliable and very durable i dont know how many times ive laid my xr500 over on a hill and it slid and tumbled down, id go down pick it up turn off the fuel and itd kick right back to life lol

@carljones992 and yea that is a recon the fourman has a headlight on the handlebar my uncle has one, i dont see a headlight on this one and the rear rack is different on the fourman also.

thats wat beer and 4wheelers will get u,KILLED,they dont mix,and yes horses r the worst thing to ride they go crazy and u cant control them,go crazy unless ur being crazy or riding outside of ur comfort zone this is an example of riding outside of ur comfort zone.i have had several rolls and my helmet (brain bucket) is what protected me,its the most important peice of ridin gear u will ever wear.everybody ride safe!! as a rider never once have i seen a 4wheeler take over the rider,horses?oh yea.
