  • @elsalfo What is the point yo u are trying to make by saying the Romans and Greeks, 2 archaic cities, couldnt handle multiculturalism. You fancy yourself a free-thinker, but you have circumvented some of the most basic facts about Australia. Melbourne, one the our most multicultural cities, is considered one of the most liveable cities in the world. Multiculturalism is not a problem, its only the people that think its one, that are the problem.

  • @hugetacoman

    So colonization is good? How did the Chinese feel when they were colonized/"enriched" by the British? What did they do when they (the Chinese) received power in Hong Kong? {A: Kicked all the British out}

    Multiculturalism isn't new, the Romans and the Greeks tried it. They collapsed soon after.

    Try becoming a free-thinker rather than a parrot. Learn some history and study basic logic....

  • @unclewooly Amazing, you can cut and paste from wikipedia. Maybe learn to read more than one paragraph you mental midget. Oceania is used as a synonym for either the Australasian ecozone (Wallacea and Australasia) or the Pacific ecozone (Melanesia, Polynesia, and Micronesia apart either from New Zealand or from mainland New Guinea"

    I guess Australia and NZ play off in the Oceania zones for the soccer because we're slap bang in the middle of Asia....of wait, maybe not.......moron!

  • @fractalheadache Oceania is a region centered on the islands of the tropical Pacific Opinions of what constitutes Oceania range from the coral atolls and volcanic islands of the South Pacific (ethnologically divided into the subregions of Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia) to the entire insular region between Asia and the Americas, including Australasia and the Malay Archipelago.

    Now go and eat some shit :)

  • @unclewooly No, it's part of Oceania, not Asia.

  • Australia is a part of Asia. Get over it. We are all migrants.

  • @hegemonic1031 And you suppose these white Australians who dislike Asians love Japanese people?

    Get a grip, bitch.

  • Oh please. I'm a white male New Yorker and new arrivals come everyday. I love my city and I'm proud of its diversity.

    Sure I'm not Australian but seriously get over it and stop living in your little village mentality.

  • Send the yellow perils back!

  • Whites need to wake up

  • @dadadacrazy I guess over time things will settle and perhaps the Asians will be treated like the Greek and Italian migrants; as fully integrated members of society. It's usually the parents who are the problem, clinging onto their country of origin's values and shunning the local culture - it's up to their kids and down the road, their kids to move on and join the mainstream society.
