There's some really great stuff here and I've always loved how Mellencamp's guitar players leave each other space to add accents. Little one-off accents that you know you'd miss if they weren't there. That's what is so special about Mellencamps music; it's about the song. I've always loved how the guitar players play only what is needed. That is an art in itself. Dig in, I hope you enjoy it.

P.S. I'm completely aware the guitar is mixed *way* lower on the record than I am here. Yes, it it does kind of take away from the laid back groove of the song. It's a guitar cover, I did it for you. Yeah, you!

props to ya but theres alot of mis synced parts...yes he did air guitar this song...if you notice @ 0:16 theres a bass note that is hit before the famous riff starts at 0:17 seconds...this guy could play the song but i hear multiple places where notes are being missed not to say he can't play this song...but listen to those parts and you can hear it.....great vid and you could really shut ppl on here up if you put a vid of yourself actually playing it without a radio in the background

Guitar in the right channel except on days when you're faking it! LOL! Thanks for this and your other videos. Lots of critics here on the UTube but I for one think your vids are the best. No talking - just a really good view of the song being played the way its supposed to be played. I can figure it out from there by and large. Love it!
