New Sony Alpha mirrorless interchangeable system camera announced at PMA 2010. With the new Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor, Full HD 1080p movie capture will be possible - it's official. And, with new Alpha DSLR models due this year Sony will be introducing the same sensor and Full HD movie capture in what is expected to be its A700 replacement DSLR camera.

  • Very sketchy details - only a prototype body was provided along with the promise of Exmor APS HD CMOS senor with Full HD video - see the WhatDigitalCamera website for more info, plus two new Alpha lenses

  • And didnt even tell us whether or not the "New" lens system will be Alpha Mount Lenses though I suspect it... I wouldnt be too too suprised if it wasnt cause Sony would love to "do it for the money".
