Two-year-old Addie was so comfortable in the Envision Child Development Center that she did not want to use her white cane. To encourage Addie to develop her cane skills, Tyler Hamilton, Envision Orientation and Mobility Instructor, decided to take Addie into unfamiliar environments. Tyler works with Addie, who is totally blind, every day.

We should all feel good about our contributions to Envision and, as a direct result, the role we play in changing lives!

  • @blacksheepgirl Mypoia is where, in laymans terms, closer is clearer and further is blurrier.

  • @jjovereats i don't have the normal 180 deg i have septo optic dsyplasia you would know because it affects the brian, growth, developement, eyesight, and other stuff. It's mroe than an eye prob. I do not have myopea as far as I know. :) see ya

  • @blacksheepgirl No need to say - it's just everyone's pupils contract so much in bright sunlight you could say they only have 160 deg of vision in bright sunlight. don't worry, I don't even notice the periphery half the time. I normally have something on the range of 170deg-180deg (FOV normal for myope). Also what the heck is SOD? Unless I have an eye test revealing it, I can be sure I don't have it.

  • @jjovereats septo optic dysplasia can give diffrent people diffrent amounts of vision/filed of vision. :)

  • @blacksheepgirl Quite odd. I have myopia in one eye (excellent close up, not so much long-distance) and normal vision in at the WORST 160 degrees in the other eye.

  • @jjovereats Ohhh, I see. Well I got a field of vision test done. Idk mine sorta by my nose. Idk how to explain it. I hadn't gotten a test done in a long time.:o Tc Hugsss! :)

  • @blacksheepgirl Sturrange. My right eye is 20/45 (ish) and my left eye is normal. But I have amblyopia of the right eye without any strabismus. It's been going away, but I fear it'll stick. One of the LS staff at my school has a one-eyed glaucoma. The other eye was fixed up correctly. He also has an amblyopia.

  • AWWW, I'm visually impaired, but have excellant close up vision. I have tunel vision and blind in my left eye tho.:o

  • 2nd floor of Envision ;) It looks cool.
