@chuggyman1 it's called sidescrolling, yes super mario 3d land's a sidescroller, not a platformer

mario games keep getting simpler and simpler. now even the world map screen is as basic as you can get, walk in a straight line left to right. Who wants a Mario adventure game like 64 or Sunshine? with a colour hub world you can explore, and find secret levels and all that classic platforming stuff?

Oh dear... nobody needs this eye-breaking 3D shit! This game would be so great for GameCube (alright, we write the year 2011 --> Wii). Why is everyone so obsessed by this 3D stuff? When I go to the cinema I have to pay 4 bucks extra, because of this crappy 3D trash, which I really don't prefer! I hope they'll port it to Wii someday, because this game itself looks great!

The graphics are getting surprisingly better every time. Due to them making something like Metal Gear Solid 3 remake its just epic they can make it great.
