I entered this video for a contest for the program I'm involved in. This is the 5th grade class at my school. I tried to get clips of my co-teacher, but the cameraman decided to focus on me and the two girls sitting in the front the most. Anyways, the rules of the contest said that it had to be 5 minutes in length. I did the editing, it was my first go at editing with Windows Video Maker or whatever it's called. I'd appreciate any tips that any of the other English teachers out there would like to give me. It's only been a few months now and I'm gaining experience, but any feedback would be appreciated.

  • Had some questions for you...

Where is this in Korea, and are you Korean? I was wondering how they receive Korean-American ESL teachers there.

  • @fieldsofgrn This is Gangwon-do, HongCheon. It really is a school by school basis. The school that I'm teaching at in this video was really great to me. I've also had experiences at other schools where I felt like I was more of a nuisance than anything else.

  • competition?

  • @sexymay14 Yeah, they wanted us to submit a 5 minute video to the TaLK headquarters so they could evaluate our teaching methods and they handed out cash prizes. My co-teacher and I didn't make it into the top 3.
