Musical Tesla Coil keyboard mode

Testing out the new keyboard mode for the tesla coils in the living room. Seems to work well. These coils will be doing a show at CTI Maker Fair here on the ASU campus. Will be fun attraction for people to come up and play a tesla coil.

What software are you using on that Mac? I'm building something similar for my DRSSTCin time for the high school talent show and I have the arduino MIDI in -> Fiber Optic Cable -> Tesla coil hardware, and a MIDI keyboard, but I'd also like to have the ability to play back MIDI files from my Mac laptop too.

@Xkcdification Well I usually use Fl studios, but this software runs only on windows. My mac is dual booted for when I need run my windows software. A virtual machine running on max OS would also work. In the case of the computer software in the video, I'm only using the PC as a MIDI thru because my keyboard don't have a direct MIDI out only USB. If I had a keyboard with a MIDI out I could just connect it right to the controller without the need for the laptop.

i understand how the controller(at the computer) and tesla coil work i just dont understand what the other end of the optical cable connects to on the tesla coil?
