Art Thiel Explores "The Tenth Inning" with Filmmaker Ken Burns

KPLU sports commentator Art Thiel sits down with documentary filmmaker, Ken Burns at Safeco Field on September 17, 2010 to discuss events surrounding MLB in the past 16 years, and Burns' latest film airing on PBS, "The Tenth Inning."

This is a followup to Burns' nine-part series "Baseball" which concluded more than ten years ago. The film essentially covers Major League Baseball since 1994, including the rise in performance-enhancing drugs, the sport's international flavor because of Asian and Latino players, a new Yankees dynasty and the breakthrough of the Boston Red Sox.
