This exhibit was a true delight from beginning to end. Artists from diverse backgrounds exhibited Dia de los Muertos Themed Artwork in this 2nd Annual Dia de los Muertos Exhibition at CityArts Factory. Art ranged from Acrylic, Mixed Media and oil paintings, Pen & Ink illustrations, 3d Decorative boxes and sculptures, Cow Skulls, Ofrendas and Sugar Skulls. We created all the Papel picado, Hanging Altars and hung all the Artwork with a team of amazing individuals including Leena Buchy, Mila Belle Dykes, Tre Harris, Joe Quillsong, Theresa Becker, Deliz Berrios, Carolina Suarez-Garcia & Tammy Long. Abdias Ernesto Garcia (Tacatantán Records) provided live music for our opening night and all promotional materials. Opening night included a Dia de los muertos procession, a Vow Renewal Ceremony officiated by The Sinister Minister (Mandaddy), Face Painting, a LIVE Dynamic Dance show, The 2nd Annual Monster Factory Exhibition and the It's Alive Project Frankenstein Busts.
