Annan accuse politicians over slow pace of reforms

http://www.ntv.co.ke Kofi Annan hits out at politicians whom he accused of standing in the way of a prosperous future for Kenya. Annan accused some leaders of hitting the campaign trail as if the 2012 general election had already been called. And in a rare foray into the activities of politicians, Annan also decried the frequent infighting among cabinet ministers.

people need to look at the big picture not to concentrate on one or 2 people. kenya needs to reform, kenya needs to end corruption. if we allow the people more power and end corruption , kenya is going to be where it needs to be. Ruto, Balala whoever are nothing but flies on the wall. once kenyans decided that enough is enough then we will begin to see progress and leaders behaving as they should. this kenya is on the hands of kenyans, we are just holding it now, admiring it but not much else

Kenya has no-one to blame. This is Kofi Annan flying to and fro just to see that politicians don't drive things to another self distruction as if he has nothing better to do? I am sad HE Kofi Annan is never allowed to meet ordinary Kenyans who will give him the real reality of things on the ground. I just don't get this Mutula guy, the more he speaks the stupid he sounds. His Excellency Kofi Annan is right, ministers are the biggest let down in Kenya. He just had to watch the news over the weekend and listen to Ruto and Balala in West Pokot.
