Wrong-o. The cell is NOT compromised. Actually has a better crash rating than a full-seized S-Class.

This isn't a car you have as your only car either.
Actually, I live out on the prairie in a small town. I want one and I can see getting one.

This Smart car does not offer proper leg protection in a crash. If you look for the video here on youtube where they crash one at 70mph, the cars windshield is intact and the doors open, BUT the leg area was completly compromised. I don't want a car that may make me an amputee in a car crash thank you very much.

Smart Cars are awesome! I hope gasoline goes to $10/gallon so all the idiots commuting solo in huge SUVs stop sucking the tar pits dry of oil.

unfortunately, most american women love giant SUV's and american men love raised pickup trucks. the only place it will sell is in the big cities. middle america will shun it. they probably couldn't fit in it anyways.
