im not ATALL taking away from the fact that the umbrella academy/ gerard way/ gabriel ba a mother-trucking awesome but its also awesome that a less nown publisher (dark horse) won :) jussst sayin :D

i love it how at the start when they're introducing the comics that were the nominations, that the umbrella academy was the one where everyone made an effort to cheer and clap louder. for the others they just politely clapped to show respect for the other writer's work.
