John does sound a little pedoish saying to Little Nicola "You want to blow it" and "Well you're going to get it anyway".
From the MMT booklet, "I AM THE WALRUS" says John. "NO, YOU'RE NOT" cries Nicola, laughing at his feathery hat. Maybe she knew something.
