9-11 Sade's By Your Side

"By Your Side", Lovers Rock, Words and Music by Sade.
This is an early film of mine, before the advanced editing tools of today. It was painstaking assembled by hand in a simple quicktime timeline.
The whole message was Sade's lyric "by your side". That in face of the most terrifying attack, emergency personnel turned towards their greatest fears to be "by your side". How each stood together during life and in death. This film was done before the mean-spirited revelations about fire trucks filled with jeans from an abandoned retail store, before the minor failures were elevated to joke about their bravery. I am not sure I could ever do a film like this again, my Iraq film was nowhere as difficulty as this one but perhaps in retrospect the larger horror will be revealed in Iraq which may dwarf the tragedy that was America's and the world's on Sep 11 2001.

everything went down hill in america after this. gas prices are way too ,high milk is 10 dollars a gallon now, sadness all over. this was our turning point 4 the worse to come.

Its painful to see this, But this is what remind us to help each other and to pray for one another. None of us is perfect, but we all can ask God to guide us through this life. We dont know where it may take us. Today every thing is good tomorrow has a new begining. Pray for your self and each other that we will all be ok.

ok so muslims may have had their reasons but to kill thousands themselves dosnt solve anything dose it? if anything it makes u twice as worse an yes maybe we dont put other countrys 1st but we help as much as we can, lets not forget the people starving an children dying were the money sent to help other countries could be helped to lessen our problems. mayb u should just move bk an lessen a few of our crimes an drugdeals MUSLIM MOHAMMED

It's "funny", when thousands people die in america its inacceptable but when MILLIONS people die in IRAK, SUDAN, RWANDA..., nobody really care. Sure we shouldnt forget the innocent people who died the 9/11 ,but what about the genocides going around the world...ahhhh..I forgot, it is not the same...they are not americans and their lives doesn't worth the same...its why we close our eyes... of course this is my point of view...
