nope, nothing on your DS needs to be changed in any way. Just pop in the cartridge :)

if u order an m3ds real from an american website... will it work on a pal version nintendo ds?

I lied... i actually have just 1 more question...

1. When it says u can either play a GBA game via fast load or patch... does patch mean that the GBA game gets put on the GBA explansion pak?

1) Your m3 will automatically make it's own save files, so dont worry about that. Generally the save files will end up in the same folder that your .nds files are in.

2) Same thing

3) For gba games, yes you are correct. Fast-load will run the game from your slot 1's microSD card. It just uses the slot-2 for a bit extra RAM. Patching will move the entire game onto the slot-2. This takes a while, but it will stay on there.

there's no option to set that...the m3 autoboots purposely because it can't load from the ds firmware
