Here I describe to a Tanzanian farmer how certain flowers provide food for predaceous beneficial insects - natural enemies of crop pests. These beneficial flies and wasps feed on the nectar of flowers and then fly out and deposit eggs on the leaves of crops. When the eggs hatch the larvae consume aphids and other pests of the crop. On organic farms in California, these beneficial insects have been effective in controlling aphids on vegetable crops.
un underestimated,or worse ,unknown, little farmers friends are these wasps.in india agnimantha herb attracts these wasps.
