Only When Youre A Jonas [Chapter 9]

The boys and Lexi finally finished their tour and were heading back home. Lexi was excited to see her mom and aunts. And yes even her younger brother. She and Aaron kept in touch A LOT. Kevin and Joe came to terms about her talking to this boy but nick was still having a hard time buying it. The other guys tried to reason with him but he was just too stubborn. Lexi got to really trust Aaron. He was sweet and not like other boys she knew. He liked her for her. And she loved that.

Lexi was in her room packing the last of her things when she got a text on her phone.
Text: so I hear you are finally coming back to California.
[AN: lets just pretend Aaron lives there. It makes your and my life easier lol]
Lexi: oh yeah. Who said?
Aaron: almost every tabloid I see at every store.
Lexi: well then they MUST be right!
Aaron: lol I'm excited to see you.
Lexi: yeah me too. Its been a while.
Aaron: yeah about a month. Well when you finally get settled at home just give me a call. I want to take you out to dinner.
Lexi: are you asking me out on a date?
Aaron: no not date. If I say date your dad and uncles will never let you go.
Lexi: good point lol
Aaron: ok well I'll let you go since you must be going crazy right now. See you later beautiful
Lexi loved it when he called her that. Other than her dad and uncles she never met another boy that called a girl beautiful. All the other ones would just say HOT or SEXY. She grabbed her bags and headed out the door to meet the boys in the lobby.

Nick: here let me get that bag for you munchkin.
Lexi: thanks
Kevin: ready to go?
Lexi: yeah! I wanna see mom already!
Kevin: trust me. I do too.
Joe: [on the phone] I'm on my way love. I'm going to the airport. Ugh give them the phone. Boys! Will you please not jump off the roof of the house! Let your mom keep her sanity! Yes...its is dangerous...just don't jump off the roof. At least not until I get home. Ok see you soon. [hung up and turned to everyone who was giving him a look] what?
Kevin: did I just hear you tell your kids not to jump off a roof until you got home?
Joe: yeah and?
Nick: wow you totally win father of the year award.
Lexi burst out laughing and just walked to the car. They boarded the airplane and she sat next to Joe who was in a deep sleep. She laughed and pulled out her journal and pen. She was thinking about Aaron and how she was falling hard. She was scared but she wouldn't know if she didn't try.

They finally got home. The car parked in front of the house and the first thing lexi did was dash for her front door. She opened it and ran into the kitchen to see her mom and aunts making food.
Lexi: mama!
Sam: aww honey!
They both hugged each other tight and began to cry. Lexi quickly went over to her aunt tiff and hugged her tight and then to her aunt Jessica. They were all crying and the boys walked in.
Kevin: wow.
Joe: awkward.
Nick: women.
Tiffany: oh you hush [walked up to nick and gave him a kiss] you know you wouldn't be able to live without me.
Nick: its true. I wouldn't. [laughing]
Jessica: I missed you [walked up to Joe]
Joe: I know you did
Jessica: you jerk!
Joe: I'm just kidding. I missed you too. [kissed her] I was so excited on the plane I couldn't sleep.
Lexi: liar you fell asleep once you hit the chair.
Joe: [smiled at Jessica who was looking at him with a raised eyebrow] she's lying. [glared over at Lexi]
Sam: did ya miss me? [to Kevin]
Kevin: tons. I always do.
Sam: so did you guys have fun?
Lexi: yes! Oh my jeepers it was so cool! And it was super fun with dad and Joey and nick and I met a boy!
Girls: oooooo! A boy!
Nick: ugh! [walked out of the kitchen]
Tiffany: what's his deal?
Joe: he hasn't moved on.
Sam: from what?
Kevin: Lexi d-d-d [gulped]
Joe: come on Kevin. We've worked on this all tour.
Kevin: [took a deep breath in] Lexi d-dating [let out breath]
Sam: hahaha awwww. You guys are so cute! [pinching Kevin's cheek]
Lexi: I'm proud of you daddy.
Kevin: I need to go sit down.
Joe and Kevin go with nick to the living room while the girls stayed in the kitchen to gossip. Its been about 2 months since Lexi sat down and had a conversation with her mom and aunts while looking at them in the eye. She was happy to be home. And now who knows what life will throw at her.
