Good that you were pressing and thinking through your actions. If you have TUGS you should put them down behind you so that anyone following you will be spotted on the minimap. Also, if you get into a large match with lots of tanks and javelin engineers, pop down a SOFLAM and start marking targets for them. You won't kill a lot, but with smart engineers your team will never have to fight a tank for longer than three seconds.
