In this ghost box session recorded on 22nd January 2011, quite a few good responses were heard. This particular session was recorded at a private residance for a friend of mine who I've known for a very long time. One of the EVP clips heard is probably the clearest Ive heard to date after we ask if they are happy. The reference to bird seed is also very important as after reviewing the session, I was told that the previous resident did indeed like to feed the birds on a daily basis. Co incidence or not? Paranormal or not?

EVP or electronic voice phenomena as it is known is thought to be voices of those passed away trying to communicate with us captured on electronic devices. When trying to capture EVP, you can sit and ask questions or leave an audio recording device in a quiet room. When you play these recordings back, sometimes you will hear voices that were not present at the time, answering your questions or talking in general. This area of paranormal research was popularised when the film White Noise was released in 2005 starring Michael Keaton. The most popular method of capturing EVP is by using ordinary tape or digital audio dictaphone's or recording devices. One of the pioneers in this field was Dr Konstantin Raudive (1909 - 1974) and his experiments are still much talked about today.

  • I have done a few ghost box sessions with good results, but I've read some things that warn against doing it because it invites spirits into your home. Do you do anything in particular to make sure all these entities don't stick around? Or is what I've read about this "inviting entities" problem just hype? I certainly appreciate your help because I'd love to get more evidence.

  • @Ceridwen999 Myself personally feel it has a lot to do with how a session is conducted, I keep it upbeat and positive at all times and always show respect and never demand too much. Generally what you put in is what you get back. There is always hype surrounding anything that works like the ghost box and ouija but they are just forms of communication like any other in my eyes. If I feel that something negative is around I do have a routine I go through flooding the room with white light.....

  • @Ceridwen999 ...but everyone has their own methods. I have rarely had anything happen that has brought me concern but you are to expect the negative at times because we cant just solely have the good. To say something is negative doesnt necessarily mean dangerous, just more of a negative personaility.

Ultimately though like I said before I fully believe it is down to how sessions are conducted

  • @Highspirit75 Hello! I came across your channel and I'd like to try to test something out. Is that alright if I send energy towards you? I'm trying what's called 'energy manipulation' and I'm thinking of creating a protective entity named 'Devon' or 'Marnino' to see if present energy can be influenced as well as made. Please reply as soon as you can, I want to know if this is possible!

  • @TheOriginalThought1 Hi, I'm certainly curious, if you want to send me a private message with your thoughts I would love to hear them

  • I think Bob is saying 'bird seed for parakeet' at 3:49 ;-)

  • thanks for posting that video, one of the better ghost box responses I've seen to date.

  • @OLIVyUu Hi, Ive had no bad experiences to date with the ghost box, but you do get the odd more negative voice here and there. The one thing I would suggest though is never do anything unless you feel entirely comfortable with it

  • @Anubis557 TV would prolly ruin it. :/

  • Hi this is Michael Edwards of EVP-ITC Speaking to the Dead with Radios. Nice video..

  • Very interesting

  • Two thumbs up again. Annie:)
