This version - the best because it hasn't got my singing on it - is dedicated to Awwad Ali, bless him. He tried his best to convince me that "Abrogation helps Islam" while I continue to argue that "abrogation" hurts Islam once people see it for what it was and still is. He is convinced that the only possible reason that anyone can disagree with him about "abrogation" is that they have not read the Koranic verses that he can recommend. The point is he was, in reality, exposing "abrogation" and Islam to more ridicule. I wish him well.
So these are new lyrics by me for Patrick Henry's song, "It's In The Koran." No, these new verses do not ABROGATE the old verses, they are just written to try to force a difficult subject into rhyme, meter and scan for a new arrangement (in Audacity) of Patrick Henry's vaudeville-style tune. I believe the Islamic theological "science", known as "al-Nasikh wal-Mansukh" (the Abrogators and the Abrogated), is relevant to Patrick Henry's eloquent defence of his song's original lyrics.
